This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with SH/T0125 standard. It is stipulated that the presence or absence of hydrogen sulfide in liquefied petroleum gas can be determined by moist lead acetate test strips under specified conditions, and whether the test strips change color is used to detect the presence or absence of hydrogen sulfide in liquefied petroleum gas. The lower limit for detecting hydrogen sulfide is 4mg/m3. If methyl mercaptan is present, a brief yellow stain will appear on the lead acetate test strip, but it will completely disappear in less than 5 minutes. Other sulfides in liquefied petroleum gas do not interfere with this test.
