In flotation beneficiation, continuously detecting the pH of the slurry using a pH acidimeter is one of the important steps to master the operation and obtain excellent indicators. In the past, using litmus paper for detection was not accurate, cumbersome, and could not be displayed or controlled remotely. In recent years, many beneficiation plants have begun to use our slurry pH automatic control and liquid addition balance system
The pH value of the slurry is an important factor affecting the flotation process. The pH value for flotation of copper sulfide ore is generally required to be in the range of 9-11, while for separation flotation of copper sulfur mixed concentrate, the pH value is required to be in the range of 1-13. Flotation plants generally need to detect and adjust the pH value of the slurry, and a few beneficiation plants use the method of measuring free alkali. The detection of pH value in slurry can generally be done using pH test strips. To achieve a more accurate measurement, a slurry pH automatic detection slurry pH value automatic control addition balance system can be used, and continuous measurement can be carried out. The results obtained from remote measurement can be automatically recorded without the need to filter the slurry, as long as the electrode is inserted into the slurry.
